Thursday, May 29, 2025 - It's GO HOME DAY!!! We made it! After our 132-day journey around the world, it's disembarkation day. This morning we'll disembark the Silver Dawn for the final time on this 2025 World Cruise and fly back home to California. It's been a great cruise but I am thrilled to be going home to see my grandkids. For a great majority of the time, both of us were healthy. I was sick for a few days at the very beginning of the trip, and for the last few days of the trip both Bob and I had terrible colds. Bob took one fall early in the voyage. He fell on his enormous camera and may have broken a rib but didn't see the ship's Dr. since there's nothing to be done for broken ribs anyway. His rib is still a bit sore. Thankfully, I had no falls! This morning will be quite hectic. They assigned us a time of 8:00 a.m. to disembark the ship, then we will get into a limo which will take us to the airport. On our ...
